The Knoxville Public Library will be holding a public charrette today and tomorrow as part of the preliminary phase of their expansion project. Library Board member David Garcia says that the charrette is essentially a brain-storming session. The public is invited to discuss their ideas for expansion with the architect for the project, Dennis Sharp from FEH Associates in Des Moines. Garcia says that they are hoping for lots of public involvement during the charrette so they can have a library that most closely fits the needs of the city for the next 20 years. The charrette runs from 10am-7pm at the Library.
