Following weekend full of first and second-place finishes, three student athletes from Central College have received Iowa Conference Player of the Week honors.

Women’s golfer Sarah Paulson took medalist honors at the Buena Vista Fall Invitational, firing a four-over-par 76 and propelling the Dutch to a second-place team finish.

Chelsea Grieger, a senior from Pella High, is the Volleyball Libero/Defensive Specialist of the Week after tallying 91 digs in Central’s four-win, first-place finish at the Augustana Viking Classic.

The Iowa Conference Men’s Cross Country Performer of the Week goes to Eli Horton, who took runner-up honors in his collegiate debut at the Central Dutch Invitational in a field of 112 runners. The Dutch took second place at the meet.
