The Knoxville Volleyball Squad is back home tonight hosting Oskaloosa. This has all of a sudden become a big match in the Little Hawkeye Conference as Knoxville is one-and-one in conference play and Oskaloosa is 2-1 with the winner possibly moving as high as second place in the conference standings. The Panthers have been much better this season at the net. One reason is the play of Jessica Jones and Chambray Daugherty. Jones had a total of 108 kills last season, in 2011 playing in just her 17th match she is already up to 91 kills. Daugherty has put down 65 kills this season and all of last season she totaled just 38. While Coach Eric Fee says passing and receiving is still a point of emphasis in practice, he cannot overlook the fact that hitting is much better this season. The freshman and J-V matches are scheduled to get underway at five-30 with the varsity match at seven-15.
