Four scores below 80 helped the Central College men’s golf team finish in 8th place out of a strong 19-team field in the final round of the Twin Cities Classic men’s golf tournament yesterday.
The Dutch posted a 313 in the final round of the 54-hole tournament, which concluded at the Rush Creek Golf Club. Concordia-Moorhead came back to edge out No. 19-rated Wisconsin Eau-Claire for first place in the team standings.
Central’s Brent Goodenow led the Dutch; tying for 19th place individually. The meet concluded the fall season for the Central College men’s golf team, which will open up the spring schedule in mid-March with a trip to Arizona.
