Melcher-Dallas is helping to fill the food shelves of Marion County. The Melcher-Dallas School District completed a food drive yesterday. Part of the food they collected was donated to the KNIA/KRLS Food Drive. That food will be distributed to Marion County food shelves. The other half of the food collected will stay in Melcher-Dallas to help out people there. High school business teacher Amanda Odegaard says that all the students did a great job, and that the eight graders and seniors collected the most food. The KNIA/KRLS Food Drive continues Friday afternoon at the Knoxville Hy-Vee from 1-4pm.
