The Pella City Council met on Wednesday. They voted to change the city zoning code on agricultural buildings to allow larger signs in response to a request from Two Rivers Cooperative. According to the new ordnance, the amount of signage allowed will be based on the height of the building rather than the width as it was previously. The new zoning ordinance will allow Two Rivers Cooperative to add their logo to the grain tower in town, as well as retain the Pella Shoe.
