In Marion County, Rick Santorum was victorious overall. The former Pennsylvania Senator gathered 33.8% of the 1679 votes cast in the county. Rick Perry finished 2nd with 19.8%. Ron Paul was third with 19.4%. Mitt Romney finished fourth with 13.6% of the votes cast in Marion County. Newt Gingrich was fifth with 9.5% of the votes, and Michelle Bachmann was sixth with 7% of the vote.
