Melcher-Dallas may soon be sharing a superintendent on an interim basis. Melcher-Dallas School Board President Bob Lepley tells KNIA/KRLS News that the district is planning on sharing Southeast Warren superintendent Delane Galvin after current superintendent Steve Mitchell leaves on January 16th. Lepley says that the plan has to be officially approved by the Southeast Warren and Melcher-Dallas School Boards at upcoming meetings, but he doesn’t foresee any problems. Lepley says they’ll advertise for the position, but if things work well, the shared superintendent may become permanent.
