The Knoxville girls basketball squad will play in Wells Fargo Arena on Saturday February fourth against Albia. It is a part of the Iowa Energy’s High School Hoops Series that brings in teams from across the state to play a regular season game at the Well. Senior player Ellie Hawkshead has played on the floor once when the girls made the State Tournament in 2010. She says she is excited to play there and for the rest of the team that was not on the 2010 squad to get that chance. Knoxville fans can get tickets during school hours and at the next two home basketball games this Friday and next Friday February third. Tickets are nine dollars and must be purchased in advance…and the ticket to the high school game is also good for the Iowa Energy game that night.
