The Indiana Township Fire Department has moved into its new fire station. This station is a replacement for the one that was destroyed in the Attica tornado in May 2008. Fire Chief Mike Legvold says he and his crew are very happy to be able to move into the new space. He says that there are still some finishing touches that will occur, but he’s pleased with the building.

The new station is located just east of the old one on Highway G-71. Construction on the building started in August.
