Three first place finishes highlighted a strong first outing of the season for the PCM girls track and field team Tuesday night in Chariton, as the Mustangs’ took part in a five-team early season meet. PCM got a first place finish from Brilee McWilliams in the discus, Rachel Peter in the 3000 meter run and the shuttle hurdle relay team of Shelby Palm, Lexi Kain, Macey Walker and Kelsey Townsend also placed first.

PCM also earned four second-place medals and had four events finish in third place as well. No team scores were kept at the meet. The Mustang girls will be back in action in the PCM Invitational on Tuesday.
