The Knoxville Heritage Community Foundation has announced that the Knoxville Public Library and the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum will be receiving grant money from the Foundation. Foundation secretary Kerry Garcia tells KNIA/KRLS News that the Library will receive 15,000 dollars per year for the next three years as part of their expansion project. Library Director Roslin Thompson says that this is great news for the library. She adds that the library is a vital part of the community for the resources it provides. The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum will receive 3000 dollars this year from the Foundation for projects of theirs.
