A week after finding success at the USA Swimming State Championships in Iowa City, a pair of swimmers from Pella’s USA Swimming team will climb another rung on the ladder and compete against some of the top swimmers in the Midwest.

Fourteen-year-olds Isaak Webb and Samantha Hedrick are in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, for the 2012 14 & Under Championships for the Central Zone – which includes swimmers from Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Webb won gold in the 100 and 200-Meter Breaststroke at last weekend’s State Championships; while Hedrick is coming off of top-ten showings in the 50-Meter Freestyle and the 100-Meter Breaststroke. The USA Swimming Central Zone Championships will continue through Sunday.
