Vermeer Corporation celebrated the opening of a satellite office in the ISU Research park last night. The office will be used by ISU students who are interning with Vermeer for research projects. Ames City officials, officials from Iowa State, and representatives from Vermeer were present at the gathering. Many projects were on display, including a project sponsored by Vermeer that deals with space exploration. A group of students at ISU design robots intended for lunar mining as part of a NASA competition.
