Election Day is less than two weeks away and though the focus is on the economy, recent troubles in the Middle East and economic worries in Europe continue to bring foreign policy issues into the fold. Former NATO Supreme Allied Commander General Wesley Clark supports Barack Obama’s re-election bid, telling KNIA/KRLS News that Obama has an experience edge in foreign policy. He says Obama’s done a great job in getting out of Iraq and has shown strength in his decision to send SEALs to kill Osama Bin Laden. General Clark says Obama has rebuilt alliances in Asia, strengthened traditional alliances in Europe, and restored a good opinion of America internationally.

General Clark says that moving forward, the biggest foreign policy issues will come in dealing with Iran and how we interact with China. He adds that cyber terrorism and cyber threats will also be a threat to deal with in the future.
