One Knoxville Hospital and Clinics employee is currently in Haiti doing what she can to help Haitians see.  Amy and Alan Zoutte traveled to Pignon, Haiti, a town about 80 miles north of Port-au-Prince, with a group from the Meredith Reform Church in Johnston called the Vision Mission Team.  The group will spend a total of 10 days in Haiti working in an eye clinic.  This is the sixth trip to Haiti for Amy and the forth for Alan, yet this trip will be much different than others in the past.  Amy said that they are not sure what to expect, but in Haiti you learn to go with the flow because you cannot change it.  Knoxville Hospital and Clinics CEO Ann Helwig, say they are very proud of Alan and Amy and hold them in their prayers as they travel to minister the Haitian people.
