With many girls out of town because of Spring Break, the Pella High girls’ track and field team still looked very good at Central’s Indoor Invitational Saturday morning. In the running events, Lydia VanEe finished sixth in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 9.06 seconds and was eighth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:07. The 4 x 200 relay team of Kailyn Hackman, Larissa Downs, Hilary Brummel, and Jessica Holterhaus also finished sixth with a time of a little over 1:57. In field events, Holterhaus registered a second place long jump distance of 15-06.5, and Lexi Reynolds set a personal record in the shot put with a distance of 29-06.0.
