A community in the South Pacific Ocean has been forced to evacuate their island home due to rising ocean levels. Their story will be told this Saturday during Earth Hour. The program is a global effort to raise awareness of climate change and get people talking about solutions. It includes a screening of a documentary about that South Pacific community. There will also be a simple meal, discussion, and an ecumenical prayer services and vigil. The event runs from 7-9pm on Saturday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
