Windstream Communications is reporting 300 phone lines and corresponding internet signals are out in Knoxville. the outages are occurring between Marion and Jackson Streets. Officials are aware of the outages and are working right now to mitigate the issues. KNIA/KRLS will let you know more as soon as it becomes official.
