The wet recent conditions have provided many homeowners some hassles as they try to keep up with their lawn. In Knoxville, Community Services Officer Arlene Worrall says those people may want to make sure their lawn is mowed soon. She reminds Knoxville residents that grass may be no longer than eight inches and that grass clippings may not be blown onto the street. Worrall says after a homeowner is notified, they have 48 hours to bring the lawn up to code. Following that, city crews will take care of the issue themselves and the city will assess the cost to the homeowner.
