East Marshall, who won their region last year to get to the state tournament and finished fifth, enters the regional final with a 27 – 5 mark, and feature a very potent offense. They’re batting .382 on the season, beat Gilbert in their opening playoff game, 11 – 3, then beat South Tama in a 15 – 10 decision. Mustangs’ coach, Mallory Grove says that her girls will enter prepared to play, and right now, have been coming into each game with a ton of confidence, which she believes has helped them get to this point in the season.
