Kovilic Construction, the contractor working on Red Rock Dam, has closed Highway T-15, and it will remain closed until Friday the 23rd. The Army Corp of Engineers tells KNIA/KRLS News that the Red Rock Dam is a working dam, and that closing T-15 is required in order to perform routine maintenance. Also, construction work has begun on the G46/T15 intersection. The corps of engineers anticipates that this intersection will remain open until the Dam is reopened, however it will close completely for approximately a week after the 23rd. Travelers should expect delays at this intersection since at times only one lane of traffic will be open.
