Losing three senior starters, the Pella High boys’ basketball team will sorely miss their 12th graders leaving the program after graduation. Bryce Bortscheller’s outside and dribble-drive threat, Nathan Clayberg on the boards both offensively and defensively, and Jordan Pingel’s phenomenal ball-handling and scoring skills will all be gone, and Coach Mark Core says those three were some of the biggest parts of their success this season. Pella finished 19 – 4 and will lose a total of six seniors.
