Knoxville PE teacher and football coach Troy N. Rider has posted $5000 bond and has been released from the Marion County Jail, after he was arrested last week on two counts of Sexual Abuse 3rd Degree, class C felonies; and one count of Sexual Exploitation By A School Teacher, a Class D Felony. Rider turned himself in to Knoxville Police Department Friday. Lieutenant Matt Koch with the Carlisle Police Department tells KNIA KRLS News that there is a warrant for Rider’s arrest there, as well, on a charge of sexual exploitation by a school employee. Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada says this investigation is continuing and additional charges are possible. A criminal charge is merely an accusation and a person charged with a criminal offense is innocent until proven guilty by a court.
