The Marion County Board of Supervisors met yesterday. The Board held a public hearing on the proposed Marion County budget for fiscal year 2015, and approved a resolution to adopt that budget. The board also approved a resolution regarding the placement of property tax relief funds in Marion County from local option sales tax revenues in fiscal year 14/15. Marion County Engineer Tyler Christian presented the secondary road department’s five year program, including work on bridges, farm-to-market, seal-coat and paving projects on county roads. The Board approved Christian’s proposal.
