Knoxville was one of two Iowa communities awarded a Section 42 Housing project, under the Rural Set Aside portion of the Tax Credit Program administered by the Iowa Finance Authority, says City Manager, Harold Stewart. The development will bring a mixed development of two 8-plexes (16 units) of three bedroom apartments, two 4-plexes (8 units) of two bedroom apartments, and 14 duplexes (28 units) of three and four bedroom homes for a total of 52 rental units. The development will also include a standalone club house building. Location will be off of Willets Drive across from Graceland Cemetery.
