The Pleasantville Booster Club will host an open house to honor three distinguished alumni on Thursday evening from 6 to 8, in the High School Library. The honorees are 1966 alum Lloyd Thornburg, who will be inducted into the Iowa High School Basketball Hall of Fame during the Boys’ State Basketball Tournaments on Saturday evening. 1996 Trojan graduate Grant McGraw has been named to the All-Century Iowa High School Football Team; and Bronson Maeschen, 2002 Pleasantville Graduate, is the 2013 Knoxville Raceway Championship Cup Series Champion. Pleasantville School will a Recognition Day for the honorees on Friday as well.
