A Monroe man accused of being involved in a deadly hit and run Sunday has waived his right to a preliminary hearing in the case.
32-year-old Michael Liggett is facing charges of Homicide by Vehicle While Operating Under the Influence and Operating Under the Influence – 3rd Offense for an accident that lead to the death of motorcyclist Clayton Bennett Harsin of Knoxville at the intersection of Highway 14 and G-44.
Liggett posted $160,000 bond on Tuesday.
