This weekend is Old Settler’s Weekend in Monroe.

Activities include arts and crafts displays, bingo, raffles, food stands, and a car show at Madsen Field. Festivities on Saturday start with a pancake breakfast at the Methodist Church at 6. Registration begins at 7 a.m. for the Monroe Annual Micro Marathon. Afternoon activities include a PEO Memorial Service at 1 and a flag ceremony at 1:30. Parade Registration begins at 6 p.m. at PCM High School and the Parade through town starts at 7.
