With harvest season upon us, Marion County Sheriff Jason Sandholdt says drivers need to be extra cautious, as the tall stalks corn can impede the vision of drivers.
“Everybody needs to pay a little bit more attention,” said Marion County Sheriff Jason Sandholdt. “Whether it be coming up to an intersection where corn’s high and maybe is a blind intersection, just taking little bit more time going through it.”
Sandholdt adds drivers should also slow down on all area roads, especially gravel roads, as farmer equipment could be in the road way at any turn.
