The Knoxville Elementary PTO will present nearly $10,000 in checks to Northstar and West Elementary for last school year’s Spell-A-Thon event.

The PTO will present a check for $6,120 to Northstar, while West will be given $3,751. People pledge money for each correctly spelled word by students during a test at the end of the year.

PTO will also discuss fundraising ideas, provide a yearbook update, and set up a meeting date for this year’s Jog-A-Thon event.

The PTO will meet tomorrow at West Elementary beginning at 6pm.
