Melcher-Dallas Principal Josh Ehn says enrollment numbers are on the rise over the past three years.

Ehn says there was about a 10 percent increase in students last school year and they’re predicting a five to seven percent increase this school year. He says the community is thriving and they feel comfortable with how the school is performing, both academically and in their athletic programs.

While consolidation and a change from 8-man to 11-man football have been considered in the past, Ehn says there hasn’t been a significant enough increase in enrollment to expand the football program and they have no interest in consolidation.
