A plea has been entered by a Knoxville man accused of pulling a gun on his ex-wife and son last month.
63-year-old Tyler Mitchell Sr. entered a written plea of not guilty on two counts each of Felony Going Armed With Intent and First Degree Harassment.
Mitchell was arrested on August 23rd after an investigation by Knoxville Police that determined Mitchell Sr. had pointed a rifle at his ex-wife and son and threatened to kill them both. Mitchell Sr. did admit to officers he had the rifle out, but would not say what his intentions were.
Court records indicate he has previously pled guilty to domestic abuse, assault, and drug charges.
A trial date has not yet been set.
