Jonathan Davenport dominated the A-Main of night one of the Lucas Oil Late Model Nationals last night at the Knoxville Raceway. Even a yellow flag for debris did not slow him down as he led all 25 laps and won by over three seconds. Davenport said it felt good to get a win at Knoxville. Darrell Lanigan was second and Brian Birkhofer finished third. Sprint car Nationals winner Donny Schatz also raced and made it to the B-Main where he finished 16th. All of the driver if they choose can come back and race again tonight.
