On a rain-soaked night over most of Iowa, PCM and the other Heart of Iowa schools still were able to get in their conference meet last night in Ames at the Iowa State cross country course. The Mustangs’ girls finished seventh, and the boys were eighth in a loaded field that included highly-touted Gilbert. Rachel Peter was tops for the Mustangs’ girls, with an 11th-place time of 17:25. Blaise Winegardner was sixth for the boys at 18:18. Full results are below. PCM concludes their regular season with one final meet at Saydel on Thursday.
