Thursday the annual Living Windows event will take place in Knoxville.
This year’s Living Windows theme is “A Country Christmas.” Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit the downtown square where businesses will create window displays that will come alive with the help of the Mentor Study Club.
Knoxville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Josh McKenna says they’re adding a candy cane hunt this year where participants will receive candy canes with a list of chamber businesses on them. They’ll then go around to the businesses to get their initials, then turn in their list at the Chamber office located at the Dixie Gebhardt house to earn a prize.
Living Windows will begin at 5:30pm and be followed by the Lighted Holiday parade, weather permitting, at 7:30pm.
