Multiple area dance teams earned high honors at the 2015 State Drill Team Competition in Des Moines.

The Central College Dance Team earned 1st place marks in their three performances in the Division III college category. Dance coach Lexi Hanna tells KNIA/KRLS News that they faced stiffer competition this season, and feels the team stepped up their performances from one year ago. Pella FORTE earned a Division One rating in all three routines and placed 1st in Class 3 Kick, 1st place in Large School Military and 1st place in Class 11 Pom. The Knoxville Dance Team received a Division One Rating in Class II Lyrical and a Division One Rating in Class III Novelty and received a Division One Rating and 4th Place Overall in Class X Pom. PCM earned a Division One Rating in Class VII Pom, Class III Jazz, and Class V Hip Hop. Twin Cedars earned Division One Marks in Class II Pom and Class I Hip Hop.
