Preparations for the 8th Annual Pleasantville Firecracker 5K are already underway.

Committee member Carly Cummings says they’re looking to make this year’s event even bigger and better than ever. She says last year’s event attracted over 200 participants and they’d like to have more this year.
There will be door prizes offered following the 5K that have been donated by local businesses. Proceeds from the event will go to Pleasantville Emergency Services for their 4th of July Fireworks display.
The Pleasantville Firecracker 5K will be held on Saturday, June 27th. More information about the event is available here.
