Last year was another outstanding season for the Knoxville Boys Track and Field Program. Highlighted by a ninth place team finish and Tanner Dunkin not only taking home the class 3A 100 meter state championship, but also the label of the fastest kid in all of Iowa as his time was the best of all four 100 meter champions. New Coach Joe Cunningham is very happy to have Dunkin back for his senior year, and tells KNIA/KRLS Sports, his leadership is showing already. Cunningham adds it is not just the Tanner Dunkin Show this season. Connor Bailey, Nolan Wallace, and Titus Chapman are among the other sprinters who are running this season.
