A Pella man is accused of breaking and entering into a Tracy home and refusing to leave.
Thirty-one year old Anthony Leon Phillips faces one charge of 2nd degree burglary, a class C felony, after a March 14th incident. Just after midnight, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a home invasion. The male homeowner told police he woke up to his dogs barking and found Phillips standing inside the house. When Phillips refused to leave, the male went back upstairs to retrieve a gun, and then held Phillips at gunpoint until an officer arrived. Court documents indicate that Phillips consented to a field sobriety test and was found to have a blood alcohol level of .190. He was released on bond from Marion County Jail.
