Central College is recognizing the week that Earth Day falls on this year as Sustainability Week on campus.
On Tuesday, hundreds of Central volunteers will help out with projects around the community, including areas of community agriculture and assisting at Lake Red Rock . All-Iowa Food day is on Thursday, where various local foods will be featured for lunch on campus and local farmers will hold informational booths where they’ll discuss their operation and sell goods. The week ends on Saturday with a climate change convention, with various faculty, alumni, and guest speakers.
