The tulips at the new Fair Haven Memorial Garden are in full bloom.
These tulips are under the care of the Pella Garden Club and the Marion County Master Gardeners. They are located at the corner of West 2nd and Union Streets. The memorial garden was first launched following World War II when the Netherlands donated thousands of tulip bulbs to Pella as a token of their appreciation for post-war aid sent by Pella residents. The Pella Garden Club has pledged to provide planting and care of the beds over a minimum of the next five years.
