A recent site visit by the Department of Education showed only a limited number of non-compliance issues for the Knoxville Community School District.

Superintendent Cassi Murra told the Knoxville School Board Monday the four non-compliance issues can be easily and quickly fixed.
One will be that graduating seniors will now have a final school day of May 22nd instead of May 20th, because they can only be excused 5 days prior to the other students based on the original, approved calendar.
A list of all the non-compliance issues along and how the district has corrected them is available below.
Murra says a full report from the DOE will be provided by the end of the school year.
