Dan Calhoun’s bunch has done it again. The Pleasantville girls’ golf team became the Pride of Iowa Conference champions by defeating the other ten teams in attendance at the Pleasantville Golf and Country Club on Tuesday. The Trojans shot a 356, and had five of their six golfers earn all-conference honors. Avari Heinz-Pence was the meet medalist with an 88, Alli Friday was the runner-up with an 89, Hannah Gordon also shot an 89, and Bailey Oliva was fifth place with a 90. The girls will next golf at The Preserve against Moravia tomorrow. Pleasantville’s boys finished in sixth place in the league tourney at Southeast Warren. Cassin Garr put in an 85 to finish eighth overall to take all-conference honors. Joe Day was next with a 91. The Trojan boys will host a conference triangular on Thursday against I-35 and Wayne.
