Pella Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Karen Eischen says that small business week recognizes the importance that they have on the community.
She says many larger industries rely on a strong base of smaller organizations to maintain the size and strength of their workforce. Eischen says Pella has recently seen a significant boost in the growth of small businesses, which she says helps maintain a high level of diversity in the local economy.
