A local author is holding a pair of book signings for his recently published book.
Fred Bankus will hold a signing for Belinda Guy on Thursday from 10:00 am to noon at Marion County Bank in Pella and next Thursday, May 28th at the Knoxville Public Library at 6:30 p.m. Bankus says the book is a collection of short stories chronicling his youth while playing fast-pitch softball in Belinda, Iowa. Bankus was born on a farm between Pella and Knoxville, and currently resides in rural Marion County.
