The Knoxville Hospital & Clinics Foundation recently received a donation of $44,850 from the estate of Dr. Elmer V. Feldman.

Foundation Director Katrina Nelson says they will use the funds to purchase equipment for the surgical department that will increase the visualization for surgeons and decrease the amount of time a patient is in surgery.
Feldman was a lifelong volunteer in the community. He passed away in November of last year at the age of 90.
