Once again a Marion County team won gold on Saturday afternoon, this time is was the 4×100 meter relay team from Pleasantville. The Trojan boys went out in a field where they were fourth fastest and surprised everyone in attendance by winning a state championship. The relay team included Trevor Zoss, Zeb Adreon, Brock Busick and Kirk Wicks. Pleasantville boys also competed in the 4×400 meter relay final finishing eighth. Pleasantville boys head coach Gabe Bakker knew his guys could go out and run well and have a chance to win the event. Chase Wetterling finished his senior year strong with a fifth place finish in the 200 meter dash final with a time of 23.14.
