A rural Knoxville man faces a felony drug charge following a Wednesday night arrest in Pella.
Robert Visser, 38, was charged with possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, a class D felony, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while barred. A Pella police officer pulled over Visser on Washington Street. According to court records, officers running inventory on his vehicle found a bag under the driver’s seat that contained a syringe and 1.4 grams of a substance that field-tested positive for meth. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Friday, June 26th.
