This Saturday, a new Marion County Fair Queen will be chosen and reigning queen, Jocelyn Beaver, says it was really special to be able to represent the county in that fashion.

Beaver says it was a great moment in her life and that she hopes to be a role model for others who aspire to become fair queen.

The 2015 Marion County Fair Queen will be chosen at the First United Methodist Church in Knoxville beginning at 7pm. KNIA/KRLS’s own Spencer Dirks will be the Master of Ceremonies. The event is free and open to the public.
